Octopus torture?

While the octopus was born to pass it didn't need to be harassed and chased in the process by people.

The dive operation does have DM pull octos from the reef, the guy the outfit is named for pulled an octopus out of the reef himself on a dive the day before to entertain the customers.

Here is a photo taken when the octopus came out of the reef on his own before the group descended on him.

I saw the same behavior in Mazatlan, the DM spent a considerable amount of our bottom time trying to get a poor octopus out of its lair. I would have rather spent it looking at the nudi branches and othe life that was all over, but he seemed to fixate on it. I didn't leave a tip.
