I purchased this cable for my VT 4.1, but it came with one, new in original package. Paid $90.00 sell for $40.00 shipped lower 48 free. The software to use this cable is free on Oceanics web site, I'm using Dive Log 5.0 and love it.

Yes this one will work with the 2.1 and a few others.
