hi all i have a oceanic cdx5 and gt3 reg setup . my question is the dive shop i bought it from and a card that came with it says parts for life on it but my sevice guys say thay need a special card for this to happen. my gear is registered with oceanic and i have sent them messages but no responce to this matter anyone else run into this????

If the shop you bought it from is authorized to service Oceanic regs then they should be able to get you the card. I don't know about Oceanic in particular, but most manufacturers only require the shop's documentation or the old parts from the regs being serviced as proof. It sounds like your service guy may be dropping the ball.
