I have an Atom unit dated 05/04. I had read there were early flooding problems. I called Oceanic and Chris gave me a Return Authorization right over the phone. I sent it in. In 1 week I received a NEW ATOM NO CHARGE. The Atom was a Birthday gift and I had no receipts. Their service was speedy and excellent. The new Atom is Dated 09/04
