Ron, if you can send feedback up the line I do have one suggestion:

Make the audible alarm louder. I have 2 Vers Pro 2 comps, and in the water without a hood on I can barely hear them. If I'm not paying close attention to it I won't hear it. If I'm wearing a hood, there is absolutely no chance that I will be able to hear it at all.

RICHinNC,

Yea unfortunately the Versa Pro is being discontinued. Its been in our line for a little over 4 years now, and over all its been (and still is) a great unit. However it’s practically the same unit as the Veo 250. The Versa Pro and Veo 250 have all the same features except the Versa Pro has the ability to up-load using the OceanLog Software. The main difference though is the size, and shape of the computers. The Versa Pro was designed from the start as a wrist computer, and has a larger LCD than most modules out there (which I find very important). Where as the Veo 250 was designed to accommodate the new Swiv Consoles. While the Swiv consoles are pretty slick, if you’re looking for a great wrist computer I would still go for the Versa Pro.

Francousteau and Wayward Son,

Thanks for the PM Francousteau, I hope we got the issues taken care of.

I have to agree with both you that while wearing a hood I regularly do not hear my audible alarms. However when doing pool or warm water dives they seem to be so loud they are almost annoying.

I will pass on a recommendation that our future computers should offer user adjustable audible alarms.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Ron Landess

Hmmm, possibly mine aren't as loud as they're supposed to be. Mine is due for its annual in september, I think. I'll have George make a point of checking that.
