Hey all

Still new to diving and buying my first set if regulators. I put alot of time into purchasing the rest of my gear - i have used rental regulators and more high end regs and the difference whilst diving has not been noticable.
I have found the following set and would like some opinions??
They are described as being *basically new* and after talking to the seller he seems reputable. He is selling them to me for $400 aud.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Photos are attached

Thanks for your help !!

Frankly speaking, here in Italy I can buy a new Oceanic alpha 9 octopus set (DIN) with spg, inflator hose and carry bag for 369€ that is more or less 410$.
So, I don't know oversea prices, but if they are comparable, probably you have some margin with the seller.
Anyway, even if he declare them to be basically new, do you plan to service them, or at least to do a professional check to them ? How much it will cost ?
Just my two cents
