Oceanic Air XS feedback?

I am putting together a small rental fleet. I have been trying out different Alternate Inflator solutions, and now I am looking at the Oceanic Air XS with the midline dump "Pull Ball".

I know the Seaquest Air Source kind of has this midline pull dump, but that also leaves the hose below the pull dump attached to the unit.

Do other manufacturers have this mid line corrugated hose dump, so that you can still use the pull dump without the alternate in your mouth?

Any other Air XS feedback would be appreciated.

My wife and I have the Air XS. We exclusively use the dump and not the deflator button. We prefer the dump because it allows fine tuning our buoyancy. The dump works fine with the Octo in your mouth and it is easy to use.

As far as the rentals, if divers are not used to diving with an integrated inflator-Octo they may need to be reminded when they rent the equipment that they breathe off the Octo and give their primary to the diver in need. I only say that because I've read misconceptions in ScubaBoard about how to use the integrated inflator-Octo.

Now, having said all that, we've added a Dive Alert Plus to our integrated inflator and we're thinking about getting rid if the Air XS and returning to a standard inflator / standard Octo setup. The weight of the additional equipment on the LP inflator line causes the Octo to get pulled into an almost uncomfortable position in your mouth, but it is still usable. If there's no Dive Alert, no problem.
