Yep, definitely looks like you've caught the bug. No cure, but the treatment is regular application of scuba gear and immersion in water. Dosage can start immediately!:D In fact check the Face Book link, you'll find I've got two more with the same symptoms!

dives in the Bahamas...I will be diving again in January in Grand Turk, St. Martin and St. Thomas....already booked a trip to Roatan in May...will be booking my trip to Bonaire in July after Christmas.

Um....I'd like to talk to you about....um....borrowing some money:D

Congratulations. I vividly remember our first ocen dive. It was almost surreal.
As we prepared to descend my wife looked into the water at the divers already on their way down. Upon seeing the beauty and the clarity - waving at the divers already at the bottom at 40+ ft, she actually gasped in awe and took in a little bit of water.
I am a bit jealous though about your future itenerary.

Wow your first memory is much nicer than mine. My first time diving in the ocean was both my first time diving (outside of the pool) and my first time going in an ocean. The first thing I remember was trying to get the fins on by sitting down in maybe waist deep water and getting a huge mouthful of salt water. :D

I also find it kind of funny that when you're finished diving, I swear your lips feel the same as if you'd just eaten a bag of popcorn.

Congrats and welcome to the addiction :)
I know the feeling I got certified a little over 4 months ago and I have dove every weekend since my certification (going diving tomorrow!). I've almost got 100 dives under my belt. Before I started diving I thought 'man cave diving is nuts there's no way I would do that'.

After diving many springs with caverns and caves (which I did not enter of course). I was fascinated by them. I have my cavern class next weekend and then I start my cave training.

Before I knew it I was buying steel tanks, canister lights, reels, and a drysuit. Diving is the best stress relief I have found so far. When I am diving NOTHING is going through my head except focusing on the dive. All my problems and worries of normal life disappear.

I've even got a dive trip planned to the Galapagos islands of the coast of Ecuador at the end of January!

If you ever find your way to Florida let me know I would love to dive with ya! I can show you some really cool places down here!

Caverns are basically the "entrance" to caves.

In cavern diving there is no point in the dive that you cannot see ambient sunlight. The cavern becomes a cave once daylight is lost.

Cavern diving is limited to 100ft depth and 130-140 feet of linear penetration.

Think of cavern as intro to intro to cave.

Oh okay, thanks. I thought the two were interchangeable. I know recreationally you can do "cavern" diving, but I take it "cave" diving is considered technical?
