Basic question- will we be likely to find one dive operator in Oahu that can certify both SDI and PADI students on the same trip? Any suggestions?
We are planning a family trip to Oahu in late May. We will have a car and spend a few days each in Waikiki, Laie, and Kapolei.
Two college kids- each taking SCUBA classes at their separate schools. One is under PADI, the other SDI. We parents are considering also taking SCUBA class in So-Cal and we could find an operator to certify us in either. The PADI kid in Texas will have an opportunity to finish his OW in a quarry for an extra $300, but we'd rather all do our OW in Hawaii.
Obviously we could sign up the PADI people at a PADI shop and the SDI people at a SDI shop, but would prefer to be together.
