......I say remove the distraction of a level of accuracy that is not needed. Whole numbers that are stable are better than decimals that keep changing. ....
I appreciate your opinion.
The decimal is not really necessary for scuba diving ..... but ... it is kind of cool to use cootwo to show what a car stopped at the red light does to the air inside the shop next to the crossing :shocked2:

The vast majority of respondent so far (here and on Kickstarter) would like the decimal for CO to be user programmable. That is what we are going to do

..... I mean really, is a 1 decimal change going to be the deciding factor between diving the tank and calling the dive? ...
I don't think so.

.....Personally, I'm not gonna dive it at 9.9, and realistically probably not gonna dive a tank above 5 or 6ppm,....
cootwo will flash the CO value if it is >4 ppm and it will also blink the LED if the value is > 9ppm

..... Especially if it delays manufacture.
So far the long pole in the tent is the enclosure .... apparently it takes forever to manufacture a piece of plastic :depressed:

Looked at 3D printers lately? (Just asking -- I haven't myself.)

Yes.
The sensor we use is an high resolution sensor optimized to operate in the 0 to 200ppm range.
Furthermore, our system is specifically designed for scuba diving and it is optimized to operate in the 0 to 20 ppm range (we calibrate it with 0 ppm and 20 ppm gasses). In this range, every ppm has several bits of resolution.

When and where is that?
Scubaboard Surge goes to Curacao Dec 4th. I'd love to be able to show off a new toy.

We do use 3D printing (a lot) for prototypes.

3D printing is not cost effective for high quantity production.

If you want you can upgrade your pledge to a cootwo deluxe that includes the LPI adapter and a carrying case.

How do I do this, there is no option I can see in Kickstarter to upgrade a pledge?

Sure, but "manufacturing that takes forever" is?

Any update on the option to update pledge & add the LP flow reducer/adapter?

The deluxe version of cootwo dual-gas CO & O2 gas analyzer for scuba divers includes a carrying case, a cootwo, a BC Low Pressure Inflator adapter and the USB charging cable.

If you had previously pre-ordered via Kickstarter the basic version of cootwo (that includes a cootwo and the USB charging cable) you can upgrade to a cootwo deluxe by purchasing on our online store the cootwo deluxe upgrade kit that includes a carrying case and the BC LPI adapter.

That's great, and I'm really glad to see that the case & LPI adapter will ship with the cootwo for people who pledged via kickstarter.

However, when placing the upgrade kit order, it's not clear how to indicate that someone has also pledged via kickstarter -- what information do you need to associate the upgrade order with the original kickstarter pledge?

As the cootwo & upgrade kit will ship at the same time, will the additional shipping & handling charge for the upgrade kit (applied automatically at time of purchase) be refunded?
