nudi or what?

it was suggested to me that the small ~1/4" diameter green thing in front of the nudi- is a baby nudi- or maybe an anemone... anyone know for sure?

Looking at it I can't tell if it is a circular object, or something partially turned back on itself. My guess is it is some kind of anemone if the first is the case or some form of polychaete worm if the second.

Where was it taken? Fiji?

I'm no expert but it looks like algae or some type of growth on the coral head.

It was a few miles north of Viti Levu, Fiji... about 50 ft deep.. I blew up the photo with just the head of the nudi and the green object, but it will probably take a while for webshots to post it on this page... last photo on page.. if you look at the closeup you see that it appears to be like a worm with "legs" instead of a round object... the edges of the green thing appeared to have the same shape edges as the nudi.... ergo, I was told it might have been related to the nudi....

I will second the good doctor on the anemone I.D.. The symmetry conforms, and I can see what vaguely looks like the oral opening.

I'd recommend you to some of the world's anemone experts, but they're horribly overworked and you'd just distract them further from returning my manuscript. I need to stop bragging about that...
