Conditions are looking very favorable so far for Nubble on Saturday. Hope to see some of you there in the afternoon. The rocks have been dry the past few times I've been there on an incoming tide.

No, though I wouldn't have been surprised. I left home late am with the thermometer fighting to get above 30. On the way to the site I drove through a couple small snow showers. It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon at Nubble with a bright sunny sky and no breeze. The seas were almost flat in the cove and the entry rocks were dry. Water was 44 and the viz was 15-20'. Saw a nice fat sculpin up near shore, a bunch of snails and hermit crabs, a few 1 " seastars, lots of new vegetation but no bugs or other fish. The water is finally warming up ----------yahooo ------ wetsuit season is only a month away. They are starting to put a few pots out in the cove so I guess someone has high hopes of an early season there also.

Nice report O.F. You are an inspiration to the rest of us Slugs.....When I wrote that post we had snow showers going on here at the Cape....sittin with my computer by my "cranking" wood stove. Keep it up O.F.
