I went to Nubble last Saturday but it was too rough w/ 3' breakers slamming the entry/exit. I went to my alternate site at Great Island Commons Cove instead just to get wet.

This Sunday the conditions look they might be agreeable so I'll be going there again and give it another try. I have been to Nubble at least 10 weekends this winter and haven't hit a good day yet. Either the conditions were bad or else there were no other divers around [and I hate being the tourist-attraction-of-the-day.]

High is almost 9 so I hope to splash about 10. If anyone is interested in being "same day/same ocean buddy" in the cove, I'll see you there.... Joe [cell 603.540.6459]

I had planned to be at Nubble on Sunday with a few other divers. We should be leaving Portland around 8am. See you there!

I'll have the red pickup with the blue ice fishing tent next to it. It is my changing station and has a chemical toilet inside. Feel free to use it if I am already in the water, though I probably won't get there until 9 anyway and you may already be there if you're leaving at 8.

Thanks for use of your "facilities" today. It was a life saver.

During our second dive today I found a dead 300 to 400 pound seal with its head missing, in about 25ft of water on the left side about 200 yards out.
