I was looking at the sticky provided by Christi about water temps(Thanks Christi, it has some very helpful info:D). It looks like Nov. water temps are typically in the 80-82 range. Since I am a wuss when it comes to getting cold, I guess I will pack my 5 mm wetsuit. My hubby is packing his 3 mm shortie. Any recent info on current water temps?

Janine

Just learned Im a pod , Ill be diving with Aldora 11-5-11 . Next year we plan to go for a week if things go well.

On your way back to the ship (if it is docked south of town) stop by LaPalapita Beach Club. I will buy a fellow southerner a cold beverage.

It's a big ocean and pretty consistent form year to year with only a few degrees fluctuation throughout the year. I've been every month except January, February and August and have always dived in a 2mm shortie. The biggest difference with temps you should concern yourself about is the air temps and staying warm between dives. If you're prone to getting cold, consider a fleece or wool jacket between dives. Both materials maintain thermal protection when wet.

I'm a wuss, too, and with those water temps I dive with a 3mm wetsuit with a skin underneath. I'm glad I'm not alone! :)

Oops...I meant a 5 mm wetsuit...not a 3mm...I'd freeze!:(

Very nice, thanks for that Dan.

I thought someone (Kat) was updating this list. I hear Susanita will be there soon....

November needed a bump....

cv .... if you were paying ANY attention, you would have realized I NEVER was handling the November List! Fin59 beat me to it and started the List, then driftin' by took it over. I am updating the DECEMBER List .... which you happen to be on. I'm thinkin' maybe you need a BUMP :bash: in the head, not the thread .... seems your mind is going ....:kiss2: :D

Well someone quit and I thought I could sucker you into it. :sly: :hehheh: The missus on it and I hate to see her stuck on a second rate list.:fail: It's a couple days away and no one has posted here in a 6 days?:sleeping2:

Besides, I am busy on another thread trying to win some drinks.... :drunks:

How 'bout this for a bump:
