Everytime i make a dive, i bleed a little from the nose on the ascend. I know my nose it´s not right, i have some problem equalizing from one ear. I don´t have pain of any kind!
Is it safe for me to dive?

While waiting on one of the regular scuba doctors to check in, (me no doctor, but as JBD says, "I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night") I would suggest scheduling an appointment with an Ear-Nose-Throat doc who is up to speed on dive medicine.

What you are describing should not happen, especially if you are having trouble equalizing an ear during the dive. So I would hold off diving until you get a chance to check it out. Diving is definitely one sport where you listen to your body. And if you body is saying "I'm having trouble here," don't dive.

Hello:

Nose bleeds after diving are usually due to trauma from excessive squeezing with the valsalva maneuver or from sinus barotrauma, neither of which are serious. However, it could be that you have some intranasal pathology that is causing this such as a polyp, tumor, ulcer, rhinitis or septal deviation that really needs to be seen by an ENT physician.

Bleeding could also be from taking aspirin or some other OTC medication that causes you to have increased bleeding tendencies.

If you're having difficulty clearing, here is an article by Dr. Allen Deckelboum that you can download givng techniques for clearing other than the valsalva maneuver.
