Actually I had to hit its snout since it appeared to make a menacing opening of its mouth.
If I recall correctly, that passage was not so much a swim through as a large arch. Perhaps 10 feet or more from the sand to the overhead coral and 20-30 feet long. Those numbers may be off.
I don't know if I ever did Dave's Throat. I don't record my dives so there is no way to look for it.
