I just don't log dives
Enough of the rain already, I still was able to dive this week.

I did my first tri-mix (21/35) dive yesterday with Capt'n Rick (author of Shipwrecks of Hawaii, www.captainrick.com) and Jo from IDH. While we hit 145' with about +70' of visibility, all we saw was sand and a Hawaiian Stingray with a black ulua swimming with it. Jo claims to have seen a 6' barracuda, but neither Rick or I saw it.

Anyhow, a couple of people have told me about a bomber wrecked off the N. Shore in about 170'. Has anyone dove it and/or part with the GPS numbers on it?

A few years back one of the Boat captains, I think it was Capt Bennet, Said he had the coordinates. We tried to charter his boat but he backed out. I have a friend who has done some research into it and there are no records of an bomber from the Army Air Corps or Navy ditching on the North Shore.

I'm all up for searching for it. I've never gone deep on the North Shore.

enjoy the dive

John
