LOL no wish it was. we are now little Montgomery.. Bout 2.5 hours from either the coast or caves depending on what you want to dive.

cool well i do have one more question, im NAUI gertified but it seem that most are PADI certed does it make much difference one way or the other.

they both accept each other certifications. so you can get NAUI OW ( Open Water) certified and then do PADI Advanced open Water.

I did the same thing. I initially got NAUI certified through a shop that went out of business and did my AOW and Nitrox trhough a PADI shop.


Or about any other agency also, for that matter.


It basically boils down to the other agencies don't want to loose any $$$ having you go someone else if they don't teach the same initial agency cert that you started with.
 
No it does not.. Careful what you ask on these forums LOL. You can start a war with the wrong question LOL... It does'nt matter. A good instructor is a good instructor. I went through SSI.. Lots of Padi jokes out there but I know some very good instructors with Padi and other groups as well. Its really up to you to dive safely after and take other classes as you feel your ready.

ive got the NAUI AOW card as well, it was like a friend of mine tought scuba so he talk me into learning and after about 10 dives with him he said i should get my AOW card so i did.i got all my dives in bham at the cory there. went diving once on a cruse.
