I don't disagree. Maybe it should be split off from when Gordon Gunn resurrected it Feb 23. Or a discussion on nortes in general. Or start a thread "Norte News".

Dear Chief,

I think it is of value to those on this board to provide news of expected Nortes. Just in case someone was planning on taking a day off just before a norte closed the port-- for the rest of their stay. I'm not perfect at forecasting but I doubt there are many active on this board with more experience, not to say interest in coming weather conditions. Sorry if it seems I dominate the issue.

I think it is great and I am just giving you a hard time. Someone has to keep you humble. And seriously, who wants 50 different norte threads?

I intentionally went and found the thread you started with the relevant title. I dunno, it seemed preferable to me to do that rather than start another thread on the same subject.

Different mods have different styles and I believe a mod cannot police a thread that he or she has participated in. Just let it go.
