I'm going on a trip to Nootka Sound in BC in late March. Any thoughts on dive operations around there and the area in general would be appreciated.

Thanks.

More specifics ... we're diving out of Tahsis BC.

Anybody ever been there who would like to give your impresssions of the diving there?

Wow ... first time I struck you guys out. I guess I'll give a report when I return.

Yup, I was there last Summer, stayed at Pacific Safaris:

Although it's primarily a fishing platform, float docks, it's really great. Good food, you have your own private boat with Guide, you can go where ever you want or they'll take you... the Diving is on par with Campbell river area or Barkley Sound.. but the scenery is pretty nice. I'd go back in a minute, a little pricey, but considering what you get, it's not bad... had some pic, but computer crashed.. Sigh.. go to the web site and you'll get and idea... the only other place I inquired about never bothered to respond, had a questionable reputation and not sure if still in business at all...
Hope that helps?
