Being an Arab myself, I'm a little favored towards the Arabic/Armenian/Turkish coffee. It's probably the most potent "shot" you can get. It is made with a finer grain, you can tell by the slightly bitter taste. I'm a bit of a wuss and add a small amount of sugar. For normal filter brewing coffee I prefer the vanilla nut stuff you get at costco(whole bean) It has an amazingly rich flavor and the vanilla doesn't take away from the taste of the bean. I have yet to try the french press but it looks very enticing.
