Sorry for a small hijack. I read your link with interest. I consider myself a "DIR Agnostic" as well.

What was the cost for the Essentials class? Does the fact that you don't get a GUE c-card prevent you from doing anything?

I never even got a physical card. Mine was more virtual. My instructor called to see if I got my card and I said "nope, but don't worry about it as I'll be taking tec1 from you anyway." Since that's the only real thing the GUE-f card gets you, I really didn't care. Now, on the other hand, my tec1 card better be in the mail
