....Although from what I understand, it turned to 5 footers later in the day. (A friend was fishing there). Hope you guys got out before that happened!
We have had a lot of that lately. Flat on the way out but picking up during the dive. Later in the afternoon the flags are straight out and you are happy to be off the lake. :D

I remember going out with Bob one time a few years ago. I told him I was surprised how rough it was on the bay. After all, bays are supposed to be sheltered and calmer than the open lake! His answer was something like 'We are diving shipwrecks - it gets rough enough to wreck ships'! True enough!
 
That prediction was obviously for a specific five-minute window.
