It's December 8th and still no whales....it's worse than waiting for Christmas!

Have you heard them yet???

I saw a couple right before Thanksgiving a little south of MM 4 (Alii Drive, Kona). My wife
and I went to the mainland for the whole family Thanksgiving shebang, and we're headed
home monday. (CA was cold and Chicago was colder  )

oh yes..chicago winters, I remember them well - don't miss'em, but remember them...lol
Something came up and I can't go diving today, but maybe tomorrow

wouldn't'cha know it!! maybe we can take a ride out west this weekend :D

Standing at e-beach giving my dive briefing today, saw 2 whales+2 whale watching boats is relatively shallow water. Looked like they were no more than a hundred yards outside the outflow..

I saw the first on friday down here.

There are a few around Maui.

We saw a couple yearlings breaching yesterday while out on Mike Severn's boat here in Maui. We also heard some whales while diving Reef's End at Molokini, but not very loud.

The captain said his first sighting of whales this year was mid-November.
