Well kids after 35 plus years under the water up and down the mid atlantic, this past season found my drive writing checks that my body may have been incapable of cashing. I did a lot of dives not documented here, and the truth is that my body is just not up to the task anymore. There is no joy in the shallows for me, so until I get to FLA and hook up a al 40 to a scr for a bimble around the reef, I am done.

What does that mean to you all? I have a $hit load of experienced gear to get you there and back. Tanks, reels, bpw, drysuit, computers, regs, annylisers, the works. If any of my fellow mid atlantic peeps need or want gear, shoot me a pm and we can work it out prior to formal listings. If you are wanting to go further than rec now, I can help.

No regrets
Eric

Sorry buddy. Lots of empathy coming your way.

Seriously? Reconsider minimalism.

Suggestion: Consider keeping enough of your gear so you always have a lightweight minimalist rig that will always be there just waiting a fill. Having that at the ready means that you are fighting it to the end. You are close enough, give Maclearie Park in Belmar a try when there is a high tide in the middle of the night. No depth at all, steps into the water, insane solitude.

One of these years, that is all I will be able to do and that will still be good enough for me.

WTF Eric???

If this is what you want. Email me a list and prices at vbremodeling@gmail.com and I will do what I can to help get rid of it for you.

One thing about addictive hobbies such as diving. You can never be without something to do after the first time you are hooked.

From my own experience, when one sport fades out, another one starts up. I went from racing motorcycles to diving to climbing/spelunking to skydiving, back to racing bikes and then back to diving. I can only afford one hobby at a time. :D

To everyone,
Thanx for all the kindness and suggestions, but as I said, I truly have no regrets about this decision. It is knowing when to say when, and I am there.
I am going to start posting sale items over the weekend, soup to nuts, treasures to trash, and even some surprises along the way.
Eric
