I suffered sticker shock with Xatelto when it was prescribed to me, but found a way to get it from the overseas factory, in generic even tho it’s not sold in the US for 19c a pill, $11.40/month! That was great for a long time, but not working well enough now, so they switched me to Eliquis - $606 to $827/month. They did give me a few free months of samples and cards while I shop. Neither of the two cards worked at CVS but after an hour on the phone with the company, they sent me an email coupon for one more free month at CVS.

CVS wanted $515/month.

My Part D quoted $277 to $296/month at local pharmacies, if that works.

I finally got on my laptop and shopped around, finding it for $24/month from India through Canadian pharmacies, $35 with shipping. Liferxpharmacy.com came through for me again. I had recently restocked on Xarelto and have over a 4-month supply/250+ that I wish I could send to someone needy, but that's not allowed for good reasons, so I guess I'll drop them in the return bin at CVS.
