I am 16 and have been nitrox certified for 2.5 years. I would say to do with TDI's course. It is an open-notes, open book test, and it is very fulfiling...

hey, I jsut started to dive and I was thinking about taking aNitrox course. But you have to get all new gear wich is more than just normal air and its also more expensive gas. So i dont know why you would dive with nitrox! Can someone tell me something? Thank You

So, where did you hear "...you have to get all new gear..."?? :jester: I use the same Reg, Mask, BC, Fins, Puter, etc. Okay, the computer really should be Nitrox Capable, but I bought it that way just in case - and I'm danged glad I did.

Yeah, it costs more, but if I'm diving 100-110 feet deep on a wreck, and it cost me $200 a dive to fly, stay, drive, and dive, an extra $8-14 a tank for 50% more bottom time is a bargain.
