The shop I use here (National Aquatic Service) has each person analyze their own tanks.
A shop I used in Tobermory, Ontario has an employee do it, which made me a little uncomfortable, since her calibration method involved letting the sensor hose hang in the air, unattached to a tank and crank the adjust knob until it read about 21.
I'd have a better chance getting an accurate reading by calling the Psychic Friends Network, since she was actually calibrating it against whatever was left around the sensor from the last reading.
My first choice would be to do it myself, however I don't mind if someone else does it, as long as I can see that they're doing it right.

junko:I'm a little confused now--when you rent a nitrox tank do you get to do the analysis yourself with the shop's analyzer or does the shop worker do the analysis for you? thanks
