It's 50% hydrogen, 30% xenon, 4% oxygen, and top off with chicken parts...

Do you need a special chicken booster?

Actually there are a wide range of gases that would be suitable for mixed gas diving, and even in some cases they would probably be better then helium, but they are either cost prohibitive, non abundant, and have little experimentation with them to be dived by the general public. The "Getting Clear on the Basics: The Fundamentals of Technical Diving" covers some of those gases and gives some of the details on them. Very interesting reading. :) I think neon could be the next voodoo gas. ;)

As far as having a forum dedicated to Nitrox, I don't think there is a purpose. There is only so much discussion that you can have on Nitrox before it gets repeditive. Nitrox isn't that complicated of a subject.

Under the Technical Diving Spec. forum a 'sub forum' for Nitrox and one for Mixed Gas really would be nice....at this point SB really does not have a proper place for discussions of either.

Most of the questions about nitrox are really "basic scuba" questions anyway...

Common Questions about nitrox posted on SB...

1) Can I use my __________ reg with Nitrox?
2) Will I die if I use Nitrox?
3) Will Nitrox make me superman?

Exactly,,,,put all those 'basic' but important to the poster type questions in their own little world!!!
