We'll do it next time. I'll follow you around the bottom. Now that I have the first one in a trip around the bottom shouldn't be a problem. I'm actually about to buy another wetsuit that is heavier so I can handle the cold a little better when I dive with you drysuit guys. Maybe in a couple of weeks we can hit it on a Sunday or something. My Saturdays are going to be booked up for a while.

I stand corected on the nitrox / air difference. See you learn something new everyday. I really didn't think it would matter that much but I guess I can see it.

EAN I need a recommendation on a dive light. One that will put out some light down there that won't cost me a fortune. Any suggestions from you or the other tech guys will be great. I'm not even sure where to start.

What's your price range?

You agree with what? His horrible sense of math?

What kind of post is that?
Lets see your "wisdom" sense of math :shakehead:

You could have just stated that I made an error in my percent calculation and the true precent is really .315789 rather than .15789
It was still early in the morning.
The logic is there

So what % were you off by?

Coffee, it does a body good.

Edit: Your math still sucks. :)

I droped the "3" when I read the calculator, my bottom times and MOD are all fine, just the percent gain in bottom time was to small.

Right, your % gain is still wrong.

Edit: You realize I'm trying to HELP your statement by showing others that the % gain is actually pretty large (as a %, not too much in actual dive minutes). Stop low-balling!

Ok, I fixed it, why the tangent?

You better hope my math don't suck, seeing I test aircraft control actuators.

No, you didn't.

Assuming your NDLs are correct (I didn't bother to check), going from air to 30% on that dive increases BT by roughly 50%. That's a lot better than 16%, or 32%. That seems worth pointing out, right?

So why not just say that in the first place.
I divided by the larger value, I'm used to calculating percent errors, we like the smaller numbers.
