Hello K any news on the software?

Hi Dario,

I hear that developers are nearing the end, but as to an ETA it is not clear. I promise as soon as I have a delivery date, I will blast the news everywhere I can! Thanks for your ongoing inquiries and patience. I realize this is difficult for everyone.

I'm going throw a cat amongst the pigeons.............are the developers working on PC (windows) only or is there development for Mac OS too?

Our developers work in MAC, so its the Windows version that is going to be delayed. Supposedly we are getting test version next week...don't come back and behead me if that doesn't happen. It's rumor until we see the software in hand :O)

Just curious as to what the "Software" in devolpment will add to the Q? Is it just the Workbench software or will there downloadable features/upgrades available i.e. not sending the computer to Dive Rite to make the feature/upgrades?

Hi,

The software will allow users to get any necessary upgrades via software versus having to send in to Dive Rite. Plus, those wishing to buy a base model Q can upgrade at a later date via the software instead of shipping to Dive Rite. Workbench will have a decompression planning feature, gas mix planning and for those wishing to log their dives, a log book is an optional upgrade.

Thanks. We're still in wait mode...

Wait, wait, wait. So is there a OSX version available now? If not I would say that technically both versions are delayed.

Logbook is an optional upgrade? Thats pretty much the only reason I was waiting on the software. I am no longer in a hurry for it to come out now. Bummer.

Just a lil update. Literally 5 min out of quarry dive where i was testing out my new transpac xt, voyager wing, weight pockets and Nitek Q. I have to say, the transpac xt is like butter. Awesome!! However, My nitek flooded. I had charger plug installed and locked and i had just had it in at diverite for service. Just charged it last night checked o ring and sealed it up. So dive rite is this warrantied? Or have i just lost 600 smackers?
