If I wear a zeagle n2ition (same thing as the Nitek Duo) and a Nitek Trio as redundancy - are the B16 calculations the same.

In other words - will they give me identical bottom time (NDL) and deco time when appropriate?

Also, Is the Nitek Trio the same thing as the N2ition 3?

Don't know for sure but I'd think they'd be off at least a hair. I just ordered a Tusa 700 (same as N2ition) as a back up to my VT3. I'll be using the Tusa in gauge mode in case the VT3 dumps its drawers.

I hope you didnt order the Tusa 700 from Leisurepro. Even though its still on their website and listed as in stock - they are sending you a different computer and claiming its better.

I had 2 friends try to get the 700 LAST SUMMER after borrowing my N2ition, and LP sent them a replacement- and as of today, LP STILL lists the computer as in stock - even though they know that they havent had the computer for about a year.

I sent an email in Oct (hoping they got some in) and was told they are removing it from the website - then again last week to try to see if maybe they got more Tusa 700's in - and once again - none.

I DID !! I'll send the F-ing thing back if it isn't what I want !! I've never had a problem with L.P. so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt till I get this thing. I'd be cool with the N2ition. We'll see... I'll post what happens next week. Thanks for the 'heads up'.

P.S. I just sent them an e-mail telling them not to bother shipping anything other than a 700 or it's going right back. Again, we'll see...

Ive never had a problem with them except for this. If they KNOW that they dont have a product - WHY continue to advertise it for a year at a great price then ship a replacement????????

Luckily I sent an email and they confirmed that they still dont have any, before I placed the order.

Obviously, the decompression algorithms in these two computers are quite different, not important if the Tusa is used in guage mode.

Just out of interest, what did they send instead of the IQ-700, the Element?

I think (I am not completely positive - but I think) it was the element 750 which is a nice computer - BUT - wasnt the same as what they wanted. They specifically wanted the Nitek Duo/Zeagle N2ition/ tusa 700/ etc., so that most of us had the same thing. I guess that isnt completely important - but still.

I already have the DSS bungie mount for the 700, although I may be satisfied with a 750. Still, kind of shady, keeping it up on the web when you know you don't have it. DICKS !!

I just got an e-mail from L.P. saying they canceled my order and sorry for the inconvenience. SO IT'S TRUE !!! I have a gift card for L.P. so I'll be picking out some other computer. I'll see when I get home from the ballet tonight. (I KNOW, I KNOW, wifes b-day )

I already went down that path. Bungie mount from the 700 will NOT work on the 750.

I found the Cressi version of the same computer - and DSS mount will not work on that either.

I believe its the Zeagle(2 and 3), Dive rite (2 and 3 gas version), Quantum, and Tusa - that all fit in the same mount.

I love my DSS mount BTW - I just leant the computer and mount to a frined going to florida - Ill bet he gets one when he comes back.
