I'm a Fish!
Dived some sites I haven't been to for over a year last weekend; man, I forget how much diversity we have here!!

Played with some off the cuff diver shots and this one turned out OK. Strange to be shooting wide instead of my favourite macros. Lots to learn and practice on these kinds of shots...but what fun!

Enjoy :D

Thanks, Nick...I think the number of views vs comments here shows that I'm right - diver shots are not ppl's favourites! lol

or maybe no one loves me...sniff

OK, I admit it....I seldom like diver shots unless it's a silhouette in a wide angle view. So the name of this thread kept me from looking. Next time call it a wide angle shot! :14: I love the colors and diversity of the wall and if you're determined to have a diver, have them looking at the reef, not the camera. It looks like he's just playing hide and seek.

Nice looking fella! :D

Well the pic is verrry nice, the coral in your neck of the woods seems to be colorful and very healthy :).

You're singing to the choir here...I don't really like diver shots at all but have been asked repeatedly for them so thought I'd better start learning. and turns out that some of the things I learned already are useful for other types of shots, so that is always good.

And, yes, we talked about looking at the reef and not the camera. I have no idea why he was doing the big mug for the camera in these shots (he didn't later on the second dive when I ran into him again), but that's ok...it's one of a myriad of things I'd do differently next time...and his mom will like it

Jam...yup, we're pretty spoiled :)

wish we had your kind of coral here.....:bawling:
Great pic :D
