I plan to dive in catalina in mid march. Anyone gone night diving there that time of year? in case you're wondering the dive will be a part of the advanced diver cert.
Also what preparations should one make prior to the dive in relation to the water temps there?
Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

Have something warm to change into or cover up with afterwards because the evenings can still be cold. Make sure you carry at least one underwater light with fresh batteries, preferably two. There will be some light from the adjacent Casino building and the moon (depending on its phase).

There are interesting critters that come out at night while others shelter from predators then. Compare what you see on the night dive to what you see on your dives during the day.
