Night Dive Thursday 5/26/05 LBTS

A bunch of members of singledivers.com are coming to town & are going to be doing a night dive at my house on Thursday. Jenny & Badmojo are already planning on joining us but I wanted to extend an invite to everyone- the more the merrier!

Oh, yeah, just to let you know- the conditions are awesome here now! Jenny, DMP, Penny Pue & I went out last night- man! What a dive! The highlight was the huge tarpon that was practically dive bombing me.

Sunday Jenny & I went out for a nice leisurely 2 hour dive. It was absolute heaven!

Saturday, Jenny, NetDoc, DarkMoon, & Chris (no screen name) went for a twilight dive- another fantastic dive...

Jenny can add the list of things we saw- turtles, nurse sharks, blennies-all kinds of critters on every dive!

Sunday Jenny & I went out for a nice leisurely 2 hour dive. It was absolute heaven!

Hey! I was there too! (Marvel is protecting my dignity as I had to abort on a beautiful dive day due to intense sinus pain.) But I swapped over to snorkel and as long as I kept to the surface I enjoyed a fabulous view of the dynamic duo below. The vis was so good I could have been there with them and actually got a nice appreciation of the bigger picture of this reef we dive so often. I can understand why Mike enjoys snorkling this reef!

Hmm.. DMP and PennyPue, huh? Well Marvel, people are going to think that you don't dive unless you have someone from Cincinnati in the water with you. (Oh wait, you did say you dove with Jenny. Nevermind!)

I'll have to skip this one, but I'll let you know when I get down to Florida again.

Doctorfish, oceansurgons, blue tangs, sargent majors, parrotfish, blueheads, yellowheads, neons, tarpon, shark, butterflyfish (reef and spotfin), chromis, blue hamlet, yellowtail snapper, grunts-french, spanish, cesear, smallmouth; sailfin blennies, balloonfish, porcupinefish, squirrelfish, glassy sweepers, blue, french, grey, townsand, queen angels...
