Night Dive Thurs Sep 23rd

If anyone wants to get wet Thursday, Lobstahman and I are planning evening/night dives this Thursday at Brant Rock 5PM. I believe Scubastew is also in. High tide's at 7:15.

First dive will be for any lobsters that want a ride in my catch bag. Sunset is at 6:38, so that dive ends at 7:08 sharp

Second dive will be a night dive.

Third dive will be at the bar at Haddad's.

i don't get out of work til 6 and could be there for the second dive say 7:30ish if that is ok with you guys. the only thing is where is brant rock.

Brant Rock is in Marshfield off Rte 139. Ask Yak about specific directions, he's the local guy. Hopefully, we'll see you there.

I may be in if that's alright. Brant Rock is easy to find 3 South to 139 toward Marshfield follow that all the way to the water, you really can not miss the water. Park along the beach and down the steps to the beach. Will diving be on the beach or the rocks? I'd guess the night dive would be on the nice beach. I would love to see some of the big bugs out for a stroll at nite.

It's acutally faster during rush hour to take Exit 11 off of route 3 (Duxbury, Route 14). Go right on 14 East, straight thru roundabout, bear left on 139. Straight across 3A at stop sign. Follow 139 to the seawall.

Well, last night was a washout. Lobstaman, myself and another buddy did a nice 8 minute dive in arms-length viz in some moderate surf before thumbing it in favor of fish and beer at Haddad's. We'll try again in the next couple of weeks.

And the Red Sox lost, too! What a night! We gave the dive a try...that's all that counts. Least we got wet. We'll have to give it another try at an upcoming high tide.
