I have talked to GlenFWB and we both are wanting to do a night dive at the Destin Jetties on September 19th (Saturday). I wanted to know if there are any other ScubaBoarders out there that are interested in making this dive as well. Here is the tides for that night, what time would everyone want to meet?

How about meeting in the jetty parking area around 9 PM? That would get us to the water in plenty of time. I am open to anytime though.

9 PM sounds good, hopefully there will be good parking ;).

Who else is game???????

I will be bring my Dive Rite LED LUX light along on the dive. I am interested to see how good it works for a night dive. I am willing to bet it will really light things up, are you going to bring yours too Glen????

Heck yeah...I will bring my LED LUX too...we will light the place up! I will also bring the Intova 4.7 backup light my wife got me for my birthday. It packs a lot of light in a small package.

Just a point of information. If you have never dove the Destin jetties, be warned that you will need to make a long walk from your car to the jetties. It is better do do it at night...but it is still a walk. Just didn't want somone coming and thinking it is like Panama City jetties or like Ft. Pickens. I don't mind the walk....but it does kick your butt when you are carrying an LP108 on your back, and camera equipment in your hands....but it is worth it.

Conditions for the night dive look (at least for now) really good.

So who is going? I heard that most people were backing out. Is the meet time in the parking lot still 9PM?
