Hello fellow scuba divers,

Just found the board on some boring time at work and joined up! Hope to get some great info and an occasional dive buddy for the Florida Keys.

Peace, :crafty:

Welcome to the SB! I wish i lived in Fl. because i'd be diving every day. I was just at the Keys a few weeks ago and the water was very rough. but, i'll be back down at some point in time. enjoy this place

Welcome, we love newbies. This is a great place to spend some time.

Florida, man are you lucky. You could be diving almost every day

Cubascuba,

I am heading over to Bimini from Key Biscayne in a few weeks. If you ever get the chance, take the trip. In calm seas, its only about two hours (on a 29ft boat). I have snorkeled over there the last two years. This year I am now certified and will be blowing bubbles.

The water is gin clear...and I am NOT kidding. At 20 ft you can read the date off a quarter at the bottom.

Glad you found us! This is a great place to spend your SI, but watch out, it's addictive!
Heureux vous nous avez trouvés ! C'est un grand endroit pour dépenser votre SI, mais prenez garde, il est provoquant une dépendance!

Check out the Florida Conch Divers forum for neighbours and info.

Dam, I've always wanted to do Bimini but I could never get anyone to go with. Maybe we can hook up one day and do some spearfishing over there? I've had friends do it and they rave about it! :dazzler1:
