Hi all ! :sunny I just started my open water clas and should be certified by the end of February. I'm a Florida chic all the way :snorkel:- so scuba was the next natural progression for me. Anything and everything outdoors suits me perfectly so hopefully i'll be suitin' up to dive down. Talk to you all sometime.

Hi Shannon and welcome to SB. Alot of FL divers to buddy up with here.

hi
I’m new too, just ending my training for my ocean diver with BSAC, just have done my first accessed open water dive under swanage pier [England]. They chose the coldest time of year to do it as well so be glad it shouldn’t be like that in Florida.

Thats Great! Congrats on the first dive. It must be absolutely freezing in those waters. I turn into a popcicle each time i go to class and it's in the 50 to 70 range. Most of the time its not to bad though, i'm just a wimp in the cold.
Cheers

Welcome to the Board Shannon!
