Hello All.
I just joined this great board. I can't believe all the amazing information and resources here. I have always envied and thought of learning to scuba dive. The time has come for me to finally learn. Before I sign up for my open water training, I have one concern. I am extremely far-sighted. With my glasses I see 20/15. I am not a candidate for contact lenses so they are out of the question. I heard there a re 2 types of Rx masks. The bonded lens type where the rx lens is bonded to the outside of the mask. The other type being the a custom made lens to fit into the mask, replacing the original lenses.
Do you have any opinions as to which is better or best and where is the best place to get these custom lenses? I live in Dallas, so if there is a local shop available, that would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Allen
