I am extremely excited about diving! Can youse guyz give me some tips on hooking up with dive buddies? As it stands I kept all my fellow students phone numbers and dove once after my recent certification with one of them. Most of my class rented equipment and this may be a deterent to frequent diving?

My LDS has been somewhat helpful but I would like to expand my options.

Thanks,
Greg

PM me with your contact info, I'm always looking for dive buddies too.

Not sure where you're looking to dive. I've been doing the fun dives at Ocean State Scuba in Jamestown RI on Saturdays when I can. You can show up alone and you get a guided tour of some of the sites in the area. Great way to build up experience in my opinion.

Of course posting a 'looking to dive' thread usually turns up a quick buddy ;)

Howdy,

noticed you are in plymouth. I am not too far north, up in Braintree. I am also pretty new this year but have been pretty active and looking for mroe people to dive with.

What does your schedule look like? I sometimes have weekend days off, but have some flexibility during the week (except right now...seems like everyone is hurt at work).

I might have this saturday off...should know in a day or two if you are interested.

John
