Hey everyone. I signed up with my buddy at the University of Nevada to take the PADI open water and advanced Scuba certifications. I've never dove before in my life, but I'm really excited about this new adventure. I just got my basic gear (fins, mask, gloves, boots, snorkel) and I can't wait to start!

Good luck in your course. Be sure to check out the forums under Basic Scuba Discussions, especially New2Scuba, as they will have answers to many of the questions that you'll have as a new diver.
