Newbie from Florida

Hello all. I am so glad I found this board. My family and I are in the process of getting certified in preparation for our summer vacation. We have chartered a catamaran in the BVI for a week and it includes diving. It just didn't make sense not to get certified. We have been to the BVI twice before but snorkeled only. Diving will open a whole new world to us. My husband and I are planning a dive weekend in Islamorada just to get a couple more dives logged before our July charter. I can already tell this board is a wealth of information. I posted a problem I was having with dive class and got a great response.

Hi Debbie, Where are you in Florida ? I am in Gainsville. I am new to this board but have been diving for "a while". If you and the family come through Gainesville let me know.
