Imagine being in the fresh air. Out on the water. Not a care in the world. Just floating around and enjoying the great scenery. Snorkeling with friends and family.
Now think about it with a full face mask on, a curved lens (Optically correct or slight distortions), lens farther from face so limited peripheral vision, is it a glass lens that is durable not easily scratch by sand or handling, pressure when submerged 10 feet or deeper, large volume to equilibriate, what happens if you need to talk or yell, and the list of detractors goes on when snorkeling or freediving.
This may be good for some. But I question its use snorkeling in ocean and dipping down to take a closer look at sealife. Next time there is a sale, I will buy one to try out.
