Newbie Diver..Question about Honeymoon Dives

That, would be a huge mistake and extremely unsafe for any newly certified diver. Until you have numerous dives under your belt, stick to groups of experienced divers and I would add it is nice to have at least one dive master with you.
 
Diving on your own in unfamiliar water is stressful enough. But renting a boat (not familiar to you) navigating waters unfamiliar to you, and diving on your own is a recipe for trouble. Especially for those with little or no experience. Only after you are familiar with the area and equipment should you even consider doing something like this.
