Im from ontairo looking to do some ocean diving in the new york area. Wondering if anyone knows of any good shore diving areas.

The Sea Gypsies emails list Ponquogue Bridge as a good shore dive, but it needs to be timed for slack tide. I've been meaning to do this dive but have yet to get there. There is also Beach 8th Street in Rockaway where they conduct Open Water classes. Sorry not to have more info.

Well, it's called a "seaway".
