Has anyone dove this wreck yet?

Anyone have a boat to dive this wreck? Prob. get the location from NOAA's website.

Link to boston Globe not working, anyone know the name of the boat, of the newly found wreck.

I read the brief article in the print edition and it said that it was a steel hulled ship sunk 1/8 of a mile from the Southern end of Prudence Island. Wreck was located by survey crew and identity is a mystery. Last time a survey was done in that area was 1943, so it is presumed she sank after that year. Allegedly divers have already been down to take a look. Maybe one of the dive shops in RI might have more info.

Take a look at the scuba-newengland.com website and they have posted an article regarding the unknown wreck. It appears the Coast Guard has already attached a lighted buoy to the wreck, so if you have a boat it should be no problem finding it.
