OK - I've received my new Oceanic wrist mount VersaPro, and due to many helpul threads in this forum decided to get a waterborne strap for increased security.

I have both of these in front of me, and I desperately want to use them this weekend.

Before I jump in, and to avoid making any potentially expensive and/or delay inducing mistakes I thought I'd turn to the experienced and helpful folks here for a bit of advice.

What's the best/safest way to remove the original wrist band from the computer? Should I take the computer out of the boot before doing this? I'm a little paranoid about just gripping and twisting, if you know what I mean.

Thanks!

...certainly not in the grand DIY fashion, but I took the computer to a jewelry store and they removed the bands for me, them replaced the pins for me - free of charge!

It took the woman several minutes to do since one of the pins was recessed away from the edge quite a bit - I'm glad that I didn't try and "brute force" it.
