New to the Group/New to Diving

Hi,

I am a "new diver" -- just finished my confined dives with PanAqua in New York City and was suppose to do the open water certification this weekend in Curacao but got an ear infection (probably from not equalizing right or from the pool) and can't fly for 3 weeks. Any suggestions for good places in the Caribbean to do the open water dives -- including instructors who are particularly patient with newbies -- would be appreciated! I am a little nervous about diving again because of the ear problems, but am still going to try and do it. Thanks.
