Thank you. Each time I do it at the beginning must I leave it over night or just that first time? will this 100% remove the protective layer? do I rinse the toothpaste off with just water?
when you realize it doesn't fog up underwater it means your ok for my mares x mask it took 2-3 time i did leave it overnight than scrubbed and rince with water.

As stated above, do a search of this site , there is page after page of what people do to their masks, some are very sad but true stories of the best way to 'bugger up' an important piece of kit. 🤿

^^^ This.

This is my hill and my fighting position.

I inherited this fighting position from my grandfather’s grandfather.

The future of SCUBA diving depends on my winning this argument on the internet.

I shall defend it to the death.

My mask-preparing enemies will be vanquished.

+1 That's for sure! There is giant thread on this with 90+ pages among other threads. It seems there are about as many ways to prep a mask as the number of pages! (exaggeration but you get the point)

I just got a Atomic frameless mask (known to be stubborn) and used baby shampoo and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It worked perfectly.
